Watching the Boob Tube

Most Starlets have a busy life, so they rarely have time to watch television.  However, sometimes a Starlet just likes to relax in front of the Boob Tube.  Some of her favorite shows include:

Game shows

Lana Turner was especially fond of any game show on TV.  A little competition is always a thrill.  Dancing with the Stars is a favorite…. mostly for the costumes.

 

Reruns

A Starlet loves nostalgia.  That’s why her first choice for television watching will usually be classic sitcoms.  Her favorites include I Love Lucy and Golden Girls, because a Starlet loves women who know how to do comedy... especially wearing fashionable outfits! 

 

 

 

 

A Starlet also loves to catch classic movies when they come on TV.  And, although not a fan of reality TV, she does enjoy fashion makeover shows like How Do I Look… a show about changing people’s lives through fashion, a Starlet is all about that!

 

Note: A Starlet’s first choice for TV is not reality TV, but she will watch those shows occasionally….maybe one of the more glamorous ones like Project Runway (the first few seasons), Say Yes to the Dress, or something with David Tutera (and she has a weakness for anything with Hugh Hefner).  A Starlet is usually fascinated my psychology and she sees reality shows as a peek into someone else psyche.

 

Current Shows

A Starlet will be hooked on Mad Men because she loves nostalgia and men in suits.  She also worships the costume designer Janie Bryant, and has her book on her shelf.

 

Starlets don’t tend to be trendy, but she loves any show that gets her excited to keep watching, regardless of how popular it is.  A Starlet’s life is interesting enough, she does not need to watch things on TV just to have water cooler conversations....

.... exception: Fashion Police.  A Starlet cannot resist the biting wit of Joan Rivers, she like George Kotsiopoulos is adorable and so knowledgeable about fashion, and she always wants to know what Kelly O will be wearing.

Note: A Starlet tries to watch the news to stay informed, but it’s usually too depressing.

Now cozy up in front of the telly with something (or someone) cuddly.
