Holiday Cocktails

Starlets love Christmas and Cocktails… so holiday themed cocktails are a Starlet favorite.

At Christmas time, Lana Turner treated herself to a Ramos Fizz

… and since Starlets love tradition, Eggnog is a must for tree trimming

Brunch would just not be the same without a Mimosa… so for Christmas Day a Starlet will go for the traditional or a red variation like a Red Stocking….

Red Stockings
Smooth as silk. Alluring, extravagant, simply elegant.
1.5 oz. Cointreau
1 oz. Cranberry Juice
1/2 oz. Fresh Lemon Juice
Top with chilled Champagne
Shake all ingredients with ice, except for the Champagne.
Strain into a champagne flute. Top with Champagne.
Garnish with winter berries.

Sugar and Spice
Sugar, spice, and everything nice.

1/2 oz. Remy Martin VSOP
1/2 oz. Cointreau
1 sugar cube
2 dashes Angostura bitters
Top with chilled Champagne
Build all ingredients in a chilled champagne flute.
Garnish with a long lemon twist.

Peppermint “Teese”
Lively and refreshing. This cocktail tickles your senses, and leaves you wanting more.

1 oz. Cointreau
6 – 8 oz. Peppermint Tea
Build in a warm cocktail mug.
Garnish with a peppermint stick.
~~~~~
Milk and Cookies
Melts in your mouth, not in your hands.
1.5 oz. Mount Gay Eclipse
1 oz. Cointreau
2 oz. Milk
1/2 oz. Simple Syrup
Shake all ingredients with ice and strain into martini glass.
Garnish with grated nutmeg.
Serve with two warm chocolate chip cookies.
Dita and Cointreau teamed up for a holiday cocktail lesson, where they make Rickys (sidenote: her dress and accessories are to die for):
